Supervisor Woerner and Ulster Lead By Example

Here is a clip of a video of last Thursday's Town Board Meeting, the discussion is on a resolution for Ulster to contribute $5,000.00 to support our local public access station.

I watched this video and I was not surprised to see that Eric Kitchen had to read his statements from a script. It is also interesting to note that Kitchen has said that “he has been getting calls for weeks” that’s strange considering Supervisor Woerner proposed it just six days earlier. Kudos to Councilman Joel Brink for supporting this initiative and thumbing his nose at the Republican Committee’s agenda to destroy the good things that are being done for the Town of Ulster. We all know that what the Republican Committee thinks is very different than what the Republican Voters think. Nick, Dave, Rocky and Joel keep up the good work. Eric stop listening to the Committee and stand on your own two feet.

Maybe the calls Kitchen was getting were from the "Citizens for Change" who financed his campaign last year. They probably wrote the script he was reading from and Quigley probably gave him the 250.00 for his donation.

Congratulations to Ulster for following the example set by the town of Rosendale, and being the second municipality to donate a portion of their franchise fees to KAPA.

Go Rosendale and Ulster!

I know Eric and was highly surprised at his vote. Republicans in the City of Kingston are *very* in favor of KAPA. I guess Kitchen didn't talk with the likes of Rich Cahill, etc. ahead of time.

I like Eric Kitchen as a person but I believe he is in over his head. I viewed the Town Board Meeting on Public Access this week and noticed Mr. Kitchen's eyes closed and he looked to be dozing at times? I hope he got home alright? Someone should have told him that it was going to be broadcasted so he wouldn't look like an tranquilized baboon on the discovery channel. Next time I hope he will be atentive or atleast act like you wantto be there.

I hope that P.T. Barnum's side show does not see the video of the last town board meeting. I fear for the freedom of Eric Kitchen. Why you may ask? Well the spinless Jelly fish has escaped and is at large in the Town of Ulster. Eric, take a hint from real actors. Read the script and practice it before you act, not during the preformance. And thats exactly how you came across, unprepared, dissconected, and looking like you wish that you were home. Have Joel Brink take you under his wing. Joel is a real public servant, who has our interest at heart, not the back room money bags.
